A Way Out of Pain – In Relationships, and Life

This video might also be considered as…A way out of suffering, if we make a distinction between pain, the sensation, and suffering, our (common) overall experience of pain…Because Matt Kahn asks us to relate to pain in a way in which we are not resisting it’s presence.

However it is more than just “not resisting.” Kahn gives us a way to understand pain that empowers us.

Empowers us in our bodies.

Empowers us in our lives.

And also, empowers us in our relationships.

For those of us that are sometimes exposed to bad behavior (are there any of us that aren’t?), Kahn offers some very practical advice.

Relationship Pain Highlights:

25:10-why people act in a hurtful way
30:20-the secret formula for diffusing tension and upset between people
36:20-why someone might come at you in a negative way
37:37-what is an argument

This is a powerful video that is worth your time, only if you sometimes experience pain. ;)
