We have a beautiful, natural (well, mostly natural) pond just off the deck at the side of our house.  I spend a lot of time out by the pond in the summer.  I try to make sure I get out to it between each of my calls, in fact.  It helps to center me before each call.

I love it.  I love that it is a natural and abundant ecosystem.  I love that all sorts of plants and animals make it home.  I especially love the frogs.

We have mostly green frogs (Rana clamitans), but also have leopard frogs, spring peepers, wood frogs and toads.
